The Thai Medical and Health Tourism Association (TMWTA) together with the ArokaGO platform (ArokaGO) organized the 5th edition of the ArokaGO Star Award on November 30, 2024 at the Shiva Meeting Room, Asawin Grand Con Hotel. Event Bangkok
At the beginning of the event, there was a lecture titled "The Six Musketeers of Lifestyle Medicine" delivered by Captain Dr. Yongyuth Mailarp, President of the Thai Lifestyle Medicine and Well-being Association (TLWA) and Honorary Advisor to the Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association (TMWTA). The lecture covered topics related to lifestyle medicine and was attended by over 100 participants, including hospital and clinic administrators as well as medical professionals.
Dr. Yongyuth emphasized the importance of lifestyle medicine through its six pillars, highlighting health care practices that focus on behavioral changes in six key areas that significantly impact health. These six pillars include:
1.Healthful Eating
Promoting a healthy diet, particularly plant-based and minimally processed foods, to prevent and reduce the risk of chronic diseases.
2.Increase Physical Activity
Encouraging regular physical activity, such as consistent exercise, to enhance overall health and reduce risk factors for heart disease and diabetes.
3.Develop Strategies to Manage Stress
Managing stress through various techniques, such as meditation, relaxation practices, and mindset adjustments.
4.Avoid Risky Substances
Avoiding harmful substances or risky behaviors, such as smoking and excessive alcohol consumption.
5.Improve Your Sleep
Emphasizing the importance of quality sleep, including establishing an appropriate sleep schedule and minimizing factors that disrupt sleep.
6.Form & Maintain Relationships
Building and maintaining positive relationships with family, friends, and the community to enhance mental health and overall well-being.
After that, Dr. Prapa Wongpaet, President of the Thai Medical and Wellness Tourism Association (TMWTA) and Chair of the award ceremony, presented the ArokaGO Star Award to 14 establishments providing medical, public health, and wellness services (hospitals and clinics). The recipients included:

The awards were determined by a panel of judges based on three key factors: Service Quality, Customer Experience, and Sustainable Business Processes. The ceremony featured special guests Mr. Jirayu Jabbang and Mr. Prapat Neilpat, former news anchors from MCOT, who graciously announced the names of the healthcare providers and businesses receiving the ArokaGO Star Award. The atmosphere at the event was filled with well-wishers celebrating the achievements of the awarded organizations.
